INSTRUCTIONS FOR LIFE ON A BLUE AND YELLOW SPRAY CAN

Instructions for Life on a Blue and Yellow Spray Can

by Patricia Day (used with permission)

spray can

A thief comes to steal and kill and destroy, but I came to give life — life in all its fullness (John 10:10, NCV).

You are already clean because of the words I have spoken to you (John 15:3NCV).

The directions on the blue and yellow spray can promise us that it:

    • Lubricates (helps things to run more smoothly)
    • Cleans (removes dirt, adhesives, and much more)
    • Protects (against rust and corrosion)
    • Penetrates (infiltrates)
    • Displaces moisture (restores)

This is much like what God does with us when we enter a relationship with Him through His Son, Jesus:

Find out how Patricia compares this blue and yellow can’s instructions to our relationship with God.

Writing has always been a passion of Patricia. She can express myself better in writing, than verbally.  She enjoys creating short stories and devotionals. Her favourite past-times: family-time; gardening; reading; walking and listening to good music. Married.  Mother of two sons; step-Mom to a son & daughter and Nana to ten.

Look for her devotionals at Pepe Prays and her blog at Patters Matters.

Patricia has recently completed her first novel – Eleanor, A Stolen Childhood – which is in the process of publication.  Her second novel, Priscilla – Hidden in the Shadows is now being written.
